Our photography and video team really outdid themselves capturing Dana and Sharon’s wedding at The Greenpoint Loft. Of course, the gorgeous brides and amazing setting at the popular Brooklyn wedding venue made their job easy! The tall ceilings, rooftop NYC skyline views and industrial elements (love those weathered brick walls) at Greenpoint Loft provided a beautiful backdrop for this celebration which included fun dancing, funny speeches and memories about how the pair met. Our Brooklyn wedding photographers and video team are always thrilled when couples find us by recommendation of the venue (we are listed on the preferred vendor list for BK Venues) and strive to provide high-quality photos and video that beautifully reflect each couples unique love story… click on the link below to learn more about Dana and Sharons;….
Brookside Banquets offered the perfect backdrop for this beautiful same-sex wedding celebration. Joseph and Frank booked our affordable photography and wedding trailer video package to commemorate their big day and the wedding photos and trailer came out great! The grooms hosted an elegant wedding at the NJ wedding venue complete with romantic portraits, fun wedding party photos and a fun reception! Be sure to check out their wedding photos at Brookside Banquets to see more of these handsome grooms’ celebration!
Apella Event Space at Alexandria Center was the perfect Manhattan wedding venue choice for this stylish couple. Our photographers captured the adorable pair Harley & David on their big day and if didn’t know any better you would think their editorial style wedding photos were staged! The same sex couple looked amazing in classic tuxedos and the modern wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. From the terrace with views of the East River to the unique architecture inside the Apella Event Space, our photographers made sure to take full advantage of the beauty of this waterfront wedding venue. This hip same-sex Brooklyn celebration is one for the books. Not only are the brides both gorgeous but they were naturals in front of the camera. Everything was perfect, from their first look in a Williamsburg park by the East River to their outdoor ceremony filled with special memories about how they met and fell in love. Our photographer and videographer were excited to return to My Moon. The restaurant and event space housed in a 19th century building offers clients all-inclusive packages with easy accessibility (the subway is 3 blocks away). The reception was filled with touching (and funny) speeches about the Brides and once the party got started this awesome crowd kept the dance floor rocking! Check it out..
Our wedding photography team had a blast capturing this same-sex wedding celebration at The Bordone LIC! The adorable couple booked our 2-photographer wedding package for their rooftop wedding and the photos came out beautiful! From the getting ready pics, to the first look and romantic outdoor ceremony, their day was perfect! Our photography team was sure to capture every special detail and the natural light at The Bordone LIC made their job easy! Once the sun went down the NYC skyline provided the perfect backdrop as the DJ kept the party going inside. New York City heated up a bit this past December thanks to these handsome grooms, David & James. All the way from the UK, they visited the Big Apple to become life partners in an intimate Central Park elopement. Our photographers captured amazing photos of the newlyweds as they made their way around the iconic tourist spots in NYC. They posed (like veteran models by the way) by the Manhattan Bridge, turned heads as they had intimate moments under the arches of Central Park and had a few laughs as they gazed at the Manhattan skyline. The newlyweds wore slim navy suits and we loved their sleek sophisticated look! It was a pleasure to share in the elopement of David and James!
Fort Tryon Park provided the perfect backdrop for the romantic elopement of this adorable same-sex couple. The pair have a beautiful love story that includes a chance meeting at an LGBTQ event that ultimately lead to a proposal at this popular NYC elopement location. (Read more about how the couple met and fell in love in this New York Times article). Unfortunately due to Covid-19, Andrew and Ivan had to rethink their wedding day plans which originally included a Fort Tryon Park wedding ceremony followed by a reception at New Leaf Restaurant. While the reception was no longer an option due to restriction from the epidemic, their Fort Tryon Park elopement was everything they had hoped for! Our photographer and videographer had a great time capturing their special day.. check it out in the link below..
Our photographers love engagement season! It’s a great time to get to know our wedding clients before the big day and provide them with some practice in front of the camera while scoring great photos for the save the dates. NYC has plenty of great places for outdoor shoots to choose from but we are partial to the diveristy of Brooklyn locations. This adorable same sex couple chose the Prospect Park area and Grand Army Plaza for their shoot, check it out…
Riverside Church, located in the Morningside Heights section of Manhattan, is an interracial, international and interdenominational church that welcomes all people. The church offers a beautiful 13th century Gothic cathedral and five additional spaces for weddings ceremonies and receptions. Our clients, Tracy and Lauren chose the historic venue for their big day and our photo and video team had a blast capturing it all. From the getting ready process at Hotel Beacon to the awesome dance party at the end of the night, their wedding was a day to remember. Check it out!
Located at the tip of Long Island, nestled next to the Fort Pond Bay, East by Northeast offers engaged couples a breathtaking bay side wedding venue that is sure to impress! The 3-hour drive from Manhattan to Montauk will give your guests a “destination wedding” feel as soon as they arrive at the restaurant. Our photography team joined this beautiful same sex couple for their big day and had a great time capturing it all! From the quaint waterfront cottage to the outdoor ceremony and reception after wards, the day couldn’t have been more perfect. Check it out!
Anyone who has ever been in a long term relationship (the 3-week fling on spring break doesn’t count!) can attest to the fact that the success of your relationship depends not only on the compatibility of your partner but the amount of work both of you are willing to put in. Once the wedding cake has been eaten, rice has been thrown and you and your honey walk hand-in-hand into matrimony, a tremendous amount of compromise and dedication will be necessary to carry you into your happily ever after. Our photography and video team had the honor of capturing the beautiful elopement celebration of Paul and Brian in Central Park’s Shakespeare Garden. Together for over ten years, these two handsome grooms are fully committed to a lifetime of happiness together and are an inspiration to all couples. Check it out!
It’s every little girls dream to one day fall madly in love, plan the perfect wedding, and marry her soulmate (on a cloudless summer day, in a custom jaw-dropping dress and Louboutin heels of course)! However, most of us aren’t as lucky as this gorgeous bride, who actually had all her dreams realized! Niesha & Marisol tied the knot on the rooftop of the beautiful wedding venue, Midtown Loft & Terrace and our videography team was there to capture every moment. This brides advice to women planning their big day…, “go with your heart you only have one first wedding. If you have a vision go with it and don’t worry about the nay sayers!” Be sure to check out their romantic wedding trailer!
Living in a city as diverse and populous as New York you can meet your potential life partner anywhere! On a crowded subway platform, in Starbucks while ordering their latest over-priced concoation or even at a baseball game! As was the case with this beautiful same sex couple Constantina & Victoria! We joined the couple at Brooklyn Botanical Garden for engagement photos and learned a little more about their beginning of their love story…
“Our love story isn’t cliche at all, it’s actually kind of odd if you ask us, …we met in high school and we actually played on the same softball team for 2 years. But the funny thing is we never really noticed each other in those years…I mean we were two totally different girls from different cliques….
Brooklyn, NY is a great place to throw a party! There are hundreds of venues, bars, lounges and outdoor spaces that are sure to please. Whether you want something elegant or laid back and casual you can find a wedding venue to satisfy your taste (and budget). Our recent client, Fabienne & Philana, a pair of breathtaking brides, chose Dumbo, Brooklyn for their big day and it turned out perfect! They exchanged vows in Brooklyn Bridge Park, walked a few blocks to their venue, 26 Bridge Street; a former factory converted into a beautiful industrial style wedding venue; and partied the night away with their family and friends. The same sex couple added details to personalize their day (check out the awesome marching band) and tell their love story. Our photographers had a blast shooting this wedding and were honored to be a part of it.
This Deity wedding celebration was so beautiful we had to feature it on our same-sex wedding photography page! Rosmery & Janeva chose the popular Brooklyn wedding venue because of it’s unique set up and close proximity to Brooklyn Bridge Park (where they took newlywed photos). The weather was perfect and our photographers took full advantage of the natural light mixing in colorful photos on the waterfront and classic black and white NYC skyline wedding pics! Be sure to check out the full article on Rosmery & Janeva’s big day and watch their romantic wedding trailer at Deity Events in Brooklyn.
