New Yorkers are some of the most interesting people in the world. Our great city has been home to celebrities, dignitaries and even Presidents! Some have come here and stayed while others visited for a short time before moving on. One of our recent couples, Fiona and Jonathon, spent only 8 months here but were so moved by the culture and beauty of NYC that they returned many years later (with their two kids in tow) to become husband and wife! They wanted a practical and affordable option for their wedding and chose Le Image to help them make it happen! Our all inclusive elopement package was the perfect solution for this globetrotting family of four and we are so honored to have been a part of their love story!
Fiona and Jonathan contacted our studio via email all the way from London to plan their NYC elopement. Parents of two adorable children, City Hall just wasn’t a practical option for them. They wanted to be able to set their own schedules and if need be change plans to accommodate their family (anyone with little ones knows you always have to leave time for bathroom breaks and snacks along the way!). We were happy to assist this beautiful family with one of our popular All inclusive elopement packages! Our packages include the Officiant, permit for Central Park and Photographer (and videographer if needed). We recommended a florist and hair and makeup team for the busy couple as well.
The globetrotting couple currently lives in London and plan to return home to Australia after their NYC elopement. They lived here for 8 months and wanted to come back to our great city to tie the knot. They wanted an affordable and practical option for their intimate wedding and we think it worked out perfectly!
Our photographer started with the family at the AKA Central Park Apartments; a luxury hotel offering spacious apartments for extended stays. The bride wore a lace sleeveless dress and topped it off with a trendy black leather jacket and red bottom heels! Their adorable daughter (and flower girl of course!) was beautiful in a flower spring dress and ballet flats. The guys were just as stylish and dad sported a black suit while his “best man” was picture ready in a blue sweater vest and khakis! The family got ready and made their way over to Central Park for portraits before the ceremony.
A long time friend of Le Image, Rev Annie Lawrence, officiated their central park wedding as the kids looked on. We have shot many international couples coming to NY to elope and often their wedding doubles as a great family trip as well! We absolutely loved the intimate nature of this elopement and how everyone played a part. Their baby boy got a front row seat for mommy and daddy’s first kiss strapped on Jonathon’s back in a toddler carrier! This family is proof of how important it is to make your wedding special and reflective of who you are as a couple and our team was honored to be a part of it. We wish the family happiness and safe travels!
