This beautiful bride knew she wanted to have her elopement wedding ceremony at Central Park’s secluded Wagner Cove no matter what! She and hubby John, were even forced to change their original wedding date because the New York City Marathon would be taking over the area for the annual race. Our all-inclusive elopement team were so excited that everything worked out for this adorable couple and the amazing photos are proof that a positive attitude (and a little flexibility) are key to a happily ever after. They chose the package that included our officiant, photographer and Central Park permit to capture every moment. Check it out.
Wedding day time lines rarely go as expected. The typical delays of throwing a celebration in a city as busy as ours, paired with organizing 100 or more guests, wedding party members and a host of vendors is enough to stump even the most organized wedding planner out there! So our team of photographers are always thrilled when our clients opt for an intimate Central Park elopement and have the opportunity to focus solely on one another.
Sarah and John contacted our studio seeking an all-inclusive elopement package that would allow them to do just that! Initially planning for earlier in the season, their plans were quickly halted when the Central Parks department let our team know they would not be awarding any permits for Wagner Cove Central Park wedding due to the New York City Marathon taking over the area in preparation for the race! This beautiful Bride didn’t let that get in her way! She quickly came up with a plan B (mandatory when getting hitched in NYC) and moved their wedding date up so they could exchange vows in her dream location!
We started with the couple as they got ready at 1 Hotel Central Park (conveniently located right across the street from Central Park). Our photographers loved the cute keepsakes the couple brought along in celebration of their big day. The cake topper with the soccer player and wife cheering him on were our favorites. Sarah was stunning in an elegant spaghetti strap tea length gown with beautiful beading on the bodice. She wore her hair in a romantic updo that showed off her beautiful shoulders! Her bridal bouquet was an array of season flowers in various shades of red and yellow. John looked just as great in a navy blue suit and grey tie.
The couple had their wedding day reveal in the lobby of the chic hotel as our NYC elopement photographer captured a few intimate portraits of the future newlyweds before heading out for Central Park.
Rev. Samora of Common Ground ceremonies met the couple in the park for their spiritual based elopement ceremony. They exchanged personalized vows and rings and were pronounced Husband and Wife on their Wagner Cove Central Park wedding.
The lighting could not have been more flattering on this fall day! Our NYC elopement photographer took some post ceremony pics of the happily married couple near the lake and in the shade of the beautiful oak trees in the park. The couple also headed over to Bethesda Terrace for more photos before heading off into matrimony!
We were honored to be able to capture this beautiful elopement and wish them a lifetime of happiness! If you are looking for a truly romantic wedding Wagner Cove Central Park wedding is a pretty good choice.
