More and more couples are ditching the traditional church ceremony followed by formal wedding hall receptions and opting for a more personalized celebration that reflects their modern taste and style. A recent NY Times article explored the various unique (and often unexpected) traditions millennial couples are adopting. From social media friendly nuptials (prompting guests to #hashtag their photos on instagram) to 7-foot “foto-robots” with British accents, there is no limit to how far couples will go to make sure their big day is unforgettable! Heidi & Paul chose an intimate Central Park elopement followed by an outdoor luncheon at NYC wedding venue, Bobo in Greenwich Village. Our photographers had a blast capturing their day!
Our photography team started with the couple at the Tribeca based Sheraton Hotel as they prepped for their big day. The weather was perfect and allowed Heidi & Paul to have their first look on the rooftop of the hotel with breathtaking skyline views in the background! The bride wore an elegant A-line strapless wedding dress complemented by a colorful wedding boutique of pink and purple hues.
Paul complimented his bride in a 3-piece suit and purple tie (check out the coordinating shoe strings!)
The couple wed at the popular Ladies Pavilion in Central Park before heading over to Dumbo for portraits in Brooklyn Bridge Park and on the Brooklyn Bridge. Their guests later joined them for an intimate outdoor garden luncheon at the Greenwich village townhouse, BoBo which offers French inspired cuisine.
This beautiful springtime wedding was a perfect reflection of the unique love between Heidi & Paul and we were honored to share in their day!
