We love providing elopement packages to couples traveling to New York for their destination wedding! Often times couples are coming to NYC for the first time and appreciate the “insider” knowledge our experienced photography and video team offer them. From which location is best for their ceremony in Central Park to the best places for an affordable brunch for their intimate reception after wards. Ashleigh and Matthew came all the way from Australia to the Big Apple to get hitched. They booked our all inclusive elopement package to cover their getting ready process, Ladies Pavilion ceremony and portraits throughout the city after wards. Check it out!
When living or working in the most densely populated borough of New York, it’s easy to forget just how magical Manhattan is! Central Park alone attracts thousands of couples every year looking for an affordable outdoor location for their elopement ceremony. If having 843 acres of space available for your ceremony and portraits isn’t enough to convince you to marry here, the affordable $25 permit fee required for most ceremony locations in the park is sure to sway you! If you choose to exchange vows in the Conservatory Garden it’s going to cost you a bit more ($400) but is well worth the investment, giving you access to a beautiful six-acre formal French Style garden, an official “quiet zone” and an array of ponds and sculptures.
Ashleigh and Matthew chose the popular Ladies Pavilion for their ceremony location. We started with the Australian couple uptown in Harlem, where they rented a brownstone to get ready. Ashleigh was stunning in an ivory colored wedding gown paired with pastel shoes. Her family scripted well wishes on the soles of her heels in blue ink that matched her unique bouquet of blue calla lilies and babies breath. We loved the sentimental pieces that the Bride brought with her like the note from her grandparents and lace handkerchief. Once she was ready the family joined her in a stretch limo to Central Park where her groom, Matthew awaited.
Getting married in a park doesn’t mean you can’t walk down the “aisle”. Ladies Pavilion offers a walk way that leads right up to the structure that is perfect for a Bride’s entrance! Our friend Reverend Samora of Common Ground Ceremonies performed their intimate elopement ceremony and they were pronounced married as their friends and families snapped photos of the newlyweds.
After wards the happy couple took portraits by The Lake and other popular locations in the park like Cop Cot and The Mall. The weather was beautiful and we think the photos came out great!
We were honored to share in their NYC destination wedding and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
