We love it when a plan comes together! And when it comes to weddings, actually sticking to the day of timeline and everything going as smoothly as hoped for is rare! But miracles can happen, as was the case with this adorable couple Alexis and Leo. Our photographers had a blast working with them as they got ready at The Hudson Hotel, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Central Park and finished off with a reception at the waterfront venue, RiverPark Restaurant. Check it out!
Our clients love our newly developed wedding app that allows them to input all the details about their big day. From where they will be getting ready to where they want their first look to take place. Our team works closely with every couple to create a realistic timeline for photos and video ensuring every special moment is captured (and sometimes remind them that there are only 24 hours in a day!) Alexis and Leo knew exactly what they wanted and created a timeline that allowed some extra time in between locations for unexpected delays.
Our photographer started with the Bride and her girls, as they got ready at the Hudson Hotel in midtown. We absolutely loved the classic lace dresses and pastel flats chosen for the bridesmaids. Alexis’ strapless gown had a beautiful beaded bodice and satin belt. The Bride wore her hair in a romantic up do with a single rose and vintage jewelry to finish the look. Her cute Bridal Tom’s would come in handy for all the walking the day included.
Leo waited for his Bride on Cherry Hill in Central Park with the guests as they made themselves comfortable on the grass. Central Park is one of the most beautiful and diverse outdoor locations in NYC to tie the knot and if that’s not reason enough to get hitched there, the cost for having your ceremony there is only $25 bucks for most locations.
After the happy couple was pronounced Husband and Wife, they visited several popular locations in the park for portraits including Bow Bridge, Bethesda fountain and Bethesda Terrace.
The newlyweds later joined their guests at The Riverpark Restaurant for a fun filled reception. The venue is situated right on the East River offering breathtaking water views and dynamic cuisine. The restaurant even has it’s own urban farm allowing them to provide fresh produce for their diners.
After the reception a few of the guests walked over with Alexis and Leo through Times Square for some fun photos before heading back to The Hudson Hotel for an after party!
We were honored to work with this couple and wish them a lifetime of happiness!
