Central Park has hosted thousands of beautiful weddings and offers couples like Eliza and Scott an almost limitless choice of gardens, terraces and lawns to choose from for their big day. Our adorable Bride and Groom chose the Belvedere Castle and Terrace for their fall wedding which started with a romantic ceremony under the Belvedere Terrace. The love between Eliza and Scott was obvious as their officiant told the story about how they met and fell in love and ultimately made their way to the altar. Our elopement photographer and video team did a great job capturing their Central Park wedding and got beautiful footage of the newlyweds throughout the park at other popular Central Park wedding photo locations like Ladies Pavilion and The Mall. They ended their day with a celebratory lunch at the famous Central Park Loeb Boathouse and enjoyed well wishes from their family and friends. NYC may be the only place in the world where you can get married in a castle for free! While our elopement photographers do suggest applying for the permit to reserve Belvedere Castle for your elopement, Central Park doesn’t require it if you are having an intimate wedding. Belvedere Castle offers a romantic elopement location in the park overlooking Turtle Pond and plenty of amazing photo opps! Be sure to check out Elizabeth & Ivan’s romantic celebration at the popular Central Park elopement location.

Truth is a 150-guest wedding with rehearsal dinner, church ceremony, cocktail and reception celebration just isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Not every Bride (or groom) wants to spend a year or more planning their big day, with a hefty price tag of around $45,000 (average wedding cost in NYC). That’s a big part of the reason intimate elopements are on the rise! Our all-inclusive Central Park elopement packages are perfect for couples seeking a smaller yet special celebration for their big day. Our elopement team recently had the honor of officiating and photographing the nuptials of Angeli and Gregory at Belvedere Castle along with a few of their closest friend. Check it out!
